FPL Gameweek 12: The only players you really need

What are the best purchase options to make ahead of FPL gameweek 12? What best performing players could you get into your team? Well, we’ve got you covered with the best players for GW12.

Connor Gallagher (£5.9m)
Burnley vs Crystal Palace

A proper look at Gallagher seems inevitable at this point as the GW4 alchemist had his second and third double-digit hauls this season in GWs 10 and 11. The Crystal Palace midfielder has exploded with double-digit hauls (13 points and 11 points) in consecutive GWs and managers have noticed ahead of Palace’s away fixture at Burnley.

Tino Livramento (£4.6m)
Norwich City vs Southampton

A good differential option ahead of GW 12 would be the Southampton defender. While a Norwich away fixture could see Livramento bag some points as he has in recent game weeks – 27 in his last four GWs, fixtures do get somewhat difficult for the Saints in upcoming weeks. He’s better owned now than later.

Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.4m)
Watford vs Manchester United

After a series of poor displays that saw many sell him and an upcoming fixture against Watford, bringing Ronaldo back into FPL teams has been one of the key talking points ahead of GW 12. Maybe, this is a good thing to do considering the Man United forward has averaged 6.8 points per game this season against teams that finished outside of the top five last season (4 goals, 1 assist, 5 apps).

Diogo Jota (£7.5m)
Liverpool vs Arsenal

With news on Roberto Firmino out for a few games, how does the prospect of Jota look for Liverpool, especially against Arsenal in GW 12? Jota is £5.5m cheaper than Salah and is nailed on returning points. But look past just GW 12. Jota can be purchased based on being a long-term buy.

Harry Kane (£12.2m)
Tottenham vs Leeds United

Shopping for a new forward? Think Harry Kane. The forward does not just have a favourable FPL gameweek 12 fixture against Leeds United at home, but also three other favourable fixtures that follow immediately after – Burnley (A), Brentford (H), and Norwich (H). See Kane’s purchase as an investment for the future.

Heung-Min Son (£10.3m)
Tottenham vs Leeds United

Should you have Kane over Son? Or should you have Son over Kane? Maybe you should have both. Being the fourth-best FPL midfielder and Tottenham’s highest-ranked player, Son is an expected threat against Leeds with a difficulty rating of 2. And considering the games that come after Tottenham have concluded GW 12, maybe Son is also an investment for the future.
